12v De-Icing Spreader (300L) EBC-TS300PP

12v De-Icing Spreader (300L) EBC-TS300PP

Spreading units of this type are ideal for specialist free-flowing de-icing products, in sensitive areas where Rock Salt would be too corrosive or where no messy residue is important, like hospitals, shops, airports, schools and railway stations etc.

These products are usually fully biodegradeable and are not harmful to humans, animals or vegetation. They are more effective than Rock Salt at lower temperatures, even down to -20* C in some cases.

The EBC-TS300PP is sized to fit a UTV, Side by Side, Pick up, or trailer towed by any suitable vehicle, where there is a significant area to cover, but using an every-day vehicle as the means of travel.

De-icing Spreader Range

This spreading unit has an un-laden weight of 70kg, sits on rubber pads and can be quickly secured using 4 tie down points, or if preferred, bolted down for permanent use. The overall dimensions are 950mm wide x 1020mm long x 880mm high and the stainless steel hopper has a capacity of 300lt.

The EBC-TS range of spreaders are designed to broadcast free flowing de-icing products. Each unit features stainless steel metering unit and corrosive resistant fixings. All these components are designed to achieve good performance over a long life.

The control box allows control of the feed and disc speed which dictates spread width, which is useful when moving from footpaths to roadways.

The metering plate bias adjustment permits spread patterns to one side or the other. The spreading disc has 4 vanes rather than 3, with more vane height than average spreading discs to prevent build up of material on the disc.

These spreading units can be used to either protect surfaces prior to expected frosts, or remove existing frost deposits, simply by adjusting the application rate.

De-icing  Spreader Range

The EBC-TS range of spreaders are designed to broadcast free flowing de-icing products. Each unit features a strong all-welded galvanised frame, polyethylene hopper, stainless steel metering unit and corrosive resistant fixings. All these components are designed to achieve good performance over a long life.

The control box allows control of the feed and disc speed which dictates spread width, which is useful when moving from footpaths to roadways.

The metering plate bias adjustment permits spread patterns to one side or the other and the mounting frame not only simplifies the attachment to the carrying vehicle, it allows tilting of the unit to affect the spread width and keep the base plate free of dust build-up which is important for component protection.

The spreading disc has 4 vanes rather than 3, with more vane height than average spreading discs to prevent build up of material on the disc.

These spreading units can be used to either protect surfaces prior to expected frosts, or remove existing frost deposits, simply by adjusting the application rate.

UTV Snow Plough UTS201

UTV Snow Plough UTS201

Professional snow plough designed to be used by UTVs fitted with a System20 front mounting system. Very capable snow clearance implement capable of high work rates. 12v ram provides electric lift for convenient control from the cab of the UTV. All wiring and control box provided.

This is the UTV version of the S228 quick-attach snow plough. The extra width and power of a UTV means that the blade can be wider than ATV snow ploughs and this unit is 1.8m. In addition, because UTVs have a cab with windscreen, the simple, manual lift lever found on our ATV snowploughs is not desirable and operators benefit from the convenience and speed of in-cab 12v electric raise and lower facility. The UTS201 is a very competent performer when it comes to clearing snow up to 30 cm in depth. The UTS201 also benefits from a clever ‘break back’ system: if the blade should hit a hidden obstacle under the snow (for example, a raised manhole cover) the blade snaps forward, releasing the bottom edge from whatever it has caught on. The spring mechanism then snaps the blade back into operation so you can continue to clear snow without dismounting to reset the unit.

Attached to the UTV using Logic’s System 20 chassis, the snowplough can be angled to the left or right to clear snow in either direction. It is lifted in and out of work using a very simple but effective manual lift lever which operates an over-centre cam. The System 20 chassis must be fitted to the UTV but once done this does not compromise the operation of the vehicle in any way. When the snowplough (or any other System 20 implement) is needed it is attached in seconds using two pins and clips. This makes it a very quick and easy method of carrying out snow clearance tasks whenever it is needed. To extend the life of the snow plough, the rubber wearing strip along the bottom of the blade is replaceable.

ATV Snow Plough S221

ATV Snow Plough S221

The S221 (1.4m) Snow Plough is a System 20 attachment and is designed to quickly and easily clear snow from yards, roadways and pathways.

Keeping everything moving in the winter months can be a major headache, particularly after even a modest fall of snow. These workhorses from Logic provide a go-anywhere snow plough that has a surprisingly high work rate. Their compact size means that snow can be successfully cleared from even limited access spots. Roadways, yards and car parks can be quickly cleared, allowing access even in bad weather.

ATV Snow Plough S228

ATV Snow Plough S228

This is the ‘professional’ version of the S221 quick-attach ATV snow plough. In common with the S221 it is a very competent performer when it comes to clearing snow up to 30 cm in depth. The S228 benefits from a clever ‘break back’ system: if the blade should hit a hidden obstacle under the snow (for example, a raised manhole cover) the blade snaps forward, releasing the bottom edge from whatever it has caught on to. The spring mechanism then snaps the blade back into operation so you can continue to clear snow without dismounting to reset the unit.
