National Hedgelaying Society Championship

Logic’s Samuel Griffin attended the National Hedgelaying Society Championship at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire with Jamie Ismay of Sharnford Tractors on Saturday, 28th October 2023.

Sam spent a very busy day talking to many local and national visitors about Logic products.

He said, “It was amazing to see 110 competitors working at such high standards, all aiming to be crowned as the best hedgelayer of 2023. It’s such an amazing rural skill, and it’s great to see it being kept alive by the society and all its members, who are always willing to train anyone interested in learning this skill”.

The event was held in the home area of Bert Clark (1925-2007), who (using his 7lb axe in the days before chainsaw use was commonplace) was considered by many to be the finest hedgelayer of his generation.
